My history with dogs began with a brown dachshund received in my childhood. It was a big love. „Csoki” -as we called him- was an ideal partner. He could follow me everywhere, owing to his size and excellent nature he did not disturb anybody. Unfortunately he died very young, at the age of 5 years.
He gave me a lot of pleasant experiences and I think I can thank Him for my interest in dogs.
Many years later, already as an adult, I met a rottweiler when I attended a police performance. His power, steely glance and work-achievement fascinated me. I decided to get a rottweiler. Then I had not thought how difficult it would be to get a –from every aspect- excellent dog. That time –middle-end of the 80’s- there were only a few „rottis” in the country. The demand for them was not high, which was very favourable regarding the breed itself, as it later turned out.
I bought every newspaper about dogs, borrowed a Trabant and visited each kennel whose advertisements I found. There were not many but in spite of all this we went home disappointedly from most of the places because we could see there not what had been advertised, but something other..At last we found one, that we liked and called him „Alphy”. I found his eye a bit too light but the breeder persuaded me that it would get darker and he would have nice dark eyes. Of course his eyes became yellow. Apart from it he was a super dog, my friends remember his work up to now very well. So did it begin…
I took a big care of the eyes with my next dog but „Gina” had some other surprise for me that I should have seen at the age of 8 weeks: her tailset was not good. And etc….
I kept in mind all the experienced bad characteristics with the next dogs, so I could make all the experiences by myself. Unfortunately there lasted some years when I could be successfully talked into some weak, not perfect pup or adult.
And then having enough experience the time came when I had in exterior and work better dogs then the average. But much more important was for me to take only healthy dogs into breed, especially paying attention to the dysplasie. At that time also causal connections could be read about keeping, training and breeding.
After nearly 10 years spent in dogs’life, we had some successfull dogs ownbred, and some import studdogs from Holland, altogether 4 bitches with IPO I, when our life got to „the cross-roads” and we had to decide what to do in the future. It was unambiguous for us that because of our job we were not able take care of so many dogs properly, as at that time we had quite a lot of dogs. It was in ’98 and we made the possible most difficult decision…
We kept one dog, a bitch Alexa von Metzger „Jessy”, who –thanks-feels well at the age of 11 years. She is strong, happy and well balanced and friendly. If I write it many people who just know the breed from hearsay will not believe me. But the rottweiler can be friendly and nice, believe me: the owners are faulty and the way they train them is unsuitable. I know it is an old stereoptype but it is true as every one is.
Many years passed and once I met a beautiful black labrador dog at the river Tisza while spending there a weekend. He was playing at the bank of the river, playing ball in the water with the children of the family, ran up to the people passing there, to me as well, wanting himself to be liked and fascinated everybody. It was such idillyc as if a film. I was caught with him and everything began again. Buying newspapers, phoning, visiting kennels, disappointments, going to shows, etc..My experience helped me a lot not to stop until all conditions are OK. We wanted to have a yellow bitch, but during one of our tours we visited Malomközi Kennel too in spite of the fact that we knew that colour can not be found there. Just at then they had six-week-pups that made our visit even more interesting for us. We arrived and I caught sight of her, Malomközi Little Marmaid „Sissy”.  It was love for first sight and has been lasted ever since. I wanted to get her by all means, which I managed to – with a bit of luck. This intention of mine was supported by the fact that Sissy was born from a repeated pairing /Multi Ch Trendmaker’s Take Five x Trenmaker’s Eternity/. And from the previous litter I could see HjCh Malomközi Caleb and HjCh Malomközi Chelsea , who became Europa Winner one year later.
Sissy became a very nice, healthy bitch with excellent characters by now, at hunting very well working familymember. In spite of all this and her very good genetical backgrounds she has a very annoying attribute, which she not always shows: she is very peevish, sometimes showing signs of shyness but on leaving the showring she wages her tail at once and everything is OK. She looks at me with her beautiful eyes asking me happily – Shall we go to play?
Well, this is her, whom I love so much. This way could I get a for me in all aspects suitable black bitch. But I wanted a yellow one too, we had to keep on searching. Sáregresi Kennel was offered to us by many people, so we contacted them and visited the kennel. We were having a long talk with the breeder and got to know that her very nice, selfbred yellow bitch Hch Sáregresi Starlight Sophy „Afi”  would be mated in some months to Hjch Midnight Sun Idaho. We booked a yellow female pup at once. The pups were born in the middle of October, we chose her at the age of 6 weeks and took the very nice Hjch Sáregresi Starlight Zizy „Holly” home at Christmas. Four Junior Champions came out of this litter, which characterises not only its quality but also the hard work of the owners. Afi’s death is in the light of this fact even more painful, unfortunately she had only this one litter. Holly is fully healthy, happy and needs much moving. She is a very successfull showdog as well. 
I would have liked to get a bitch pup from Afi’s father,Trendmaker’s Star Wars „Milton” because I have seen a lot of nice dogs of his offspring. When choosing Holly I met Kiss Zoltán, the owner of Midnight Sun Kennel and I learnt from him that one of his last litters would be born in the near future. The dam was Midnight Sun Ursula „Popeye”, a bitch with very good working abilities.  So we got HjCh Midnight Sun Wendy „Wendy”. She is a very good natured, good handled and first of all an excellent workingdog. She has enormous heart, is very nice with typical labrador-temperament.
It is my way to get my labi girls. All this I wanted to write so detailed because I have already heard some guessings without any base why I have three. This is my hobby. That’s all.
My aim is to breed healthy dogs who are good at work and show as well and the owners and their familymembers should feel that their Invictus labradors are their unbeatable friends.
I think a pup with some similar attributes will be good for me too.
